Question #1:
I want to go back to the 70's and 80's...
Missing the music, fun and my party years...Waaaaaaa :(
Question #2:
and PLEASE don't say surfer music!
Me - Next to Lennon and McCartney, Brian Wilson was THE creative musical genius of that era and the album "Pet Sounds" is considered on a par with "Sgt Pepper" as far as innovative music was concerned at the time.
Also, some of their best and most creative music took place in the mid 70's which included the "Surf's Up" and "Holland" albums, which sound very, very little like "surfer music."
Adding extra fact - The Beach Boys made GREAT remakes - as in their remakes of Peggy Sue, Palisades Park, In The Still of the Night, Come Go With Me and ESPECIALLY their remake of California Dreaming.

Question #6:
for example the trolls on youtube, who go around talking about Americans, but yet FROM WHAT I SAW they have ALL THIS Lady Gaga or Hannah Montana sh*t in their playlist box!!!. I mean seriously!!! wtf???!, if you're gonna listen to our music and watch our shows so much why can't you respect the people instead of generalizing americans when most probably haven't seen an American unless it was some wealthy stuck up tourist, or you're a canadian and you went to Detroit or NYC and immediately was like "damn them americans Grrrrrr *listens to hannah montana*"
Question #7:
ROCK AND ROLL?!?!? Me and my piano teacher were talking about this today. A lot of music today just doesn't have the same soul. I miss that old time rock and roll!
Question #8:
it's really negative. chances are, if you hear a rap song it will just talk about sex, drugs, guns, etc. and most rappers can't even rap (i.e. lil wayne). studios today will hire just about anyone who can rhyme (and most of the time, very quickly). and those mediocre rappers with no sense of music just steal from each other and just repeat the same bad message over and over.
yes, yes, there's rap that has a message about guns, drugs, etc. because those rappers went through it, but one could very easily misinterpret such a message. guns and drugs could be thought of as cool because a famous person who's been through it is saying it (that doesn't make sense but people are foolish enough to believe it) and rappers are "cool" with their successful lives because they're rapping about drugs and such. that's not a good message for anyone, not just kids.
i listen to rock. barely any of that talk about anything but love, pain, and fighting (by fighting, i mean songs like "blow me away-breaking benjamin or becoming the bull-atreyu".
so why is rap music? even the few rap songs that aren't bad just sound like poetry. i really don't like the amount of violence and bad messages in rap, so i stick to rock.
have a nice day.
no one here gets what i'm saying. i haven't gotten one answer that isn't emotional or opinionated.
look, i never said i don't listen to some rap (i don't, but i never said i didn't) or anything.
oh, and i'm black.

Question #13:
What's the problem?
They put the fact that we are a republic? The constitution does not say we are a democracy. We are a republic.
They teach that the second amendment is in the constitution? I think it still is despite the fact that some would like to ignore that fact.
That they didn't include hip hop? Who cares about hip hop when the US scores near the bottom of the industrialized world in standardized testing and colleges need remedial courses to get incoming freshmen up to speed.
That they would include "important" latinos? Who are they? and who are you to tell Texas what to put in their books?
Someone HAS TO decide what goes in these books. They can't include every event, person, race, religion, music type, etc, etc.
So what is your problem with them doing what they have the right and responsibility to do?

Question #15:
Im starting to play more grunge music and i want to know which strings are the best
Question #16:
Both are very similar but complete opposites! If there was a band that describe the scorpio boy it would be Tool and Gorillaz. If there was a band to describe the taurus girl it would be MGMT and The Cure.
Both are stubborn, both are into the same music. They basically have the same interests. But the big difference is the Scorpio boy is the type that will not care if they hurt someones feelings when the Taurus girl cares if she does. Another difference is the taurus girl hides her feelings when she is hurt when the scorpio boy will express it if something made them angry or if it made them sad they will hide it. But later on the taurus girl with break down when repeated in her head over and over. The scorpio boy can be Just plan mean sometimes when the Taurus girl is only mean when something is wrong and disturbed her peace. The taurus girl is also the possessive type. She likes to own people as if they are a puppy are a really nice car. When the scorpio boy is just obsessive.
Are they compatible?
Question #17:
If money / pay was not an issue I'd have 2 "dream jobs."
The first would be a curator at the National Air and Space Museum at the Smithsonian. I have a degree in history and all history is every interesting to me. I was born and raised in that area and going to the Smithsonian museums was always among my favorite things. Having been a pilot in the Air Force for a few years naturally I'm interested in aviation / space history so working at the NASM would be so much fun for me.
The other would be a rock musician - I got my first guitar at age 5 and have been playing all my life. I hav performed in front of other people before and I was in a rock band in high school. Over the years I have played less and less due to other things in life but I still enjoy it. Unfortunately now I have a little arthritis in my hands so it's a little painful, but I still like it. I wouldn't want to be like some big rock star, but I would love just playing in local clubs where you can do the music you like and that people enjoy.
Question #18:
I recently ripped a Coldplay cd of my dad's to my laptop. The music is fine and in good quality, just so LOUD that I have to put the volume down a lot...then when the next song comes on (in shuffle) I can't hear it...
Is there a way to lower these songs automatically so when it comes on it's the same default volume as the rest of my songs.
